Kia ora koutou!
I am a South Island girl from Ashburton in Canterbury, embracing the wonderful opportunity to be part of this outstanding childcare centre, the low ratios, beautiful space and beach setting won me over instantly! I am excited to be part of this beautiful community.
Steve and I have two grown boys and we are now even grandparents! This of course influences my teaching and management and my passion in life, as I know how important it is to be part of a wider community. To have your child mean something special to those who spend time with them and to be loved is a beautiful thing. To know that someone else also sees your child and their growth as special is truly magic.
I have been involved in Early Childhood teaching for over 20 years and have a Degree in ECE Teaching and Learning and I am a fully registered teacher.
Outside teaching and managing I enjoy spending lots of time with my family as it continues to grow. I enjoy Latin dancing, taking the grandchildren out into the bush, painting and I even make it to the gym sometimes! My husband and I often jump on the Harley in the weekends to go exploring. We especially love those beautiful summery days and look forward to exploring the North Island some more!
I look forward to the privilege of sharing the learning journey with you, your child and your whānau at Cottontails.
